Schedule

Friday  – Registration and practice

Saturday – 8AM briefing. Knowns and Frees

Sunday – Finish knowns/frees, Unknowns. We will be done flying by early evening

First Time Competitors: Our contest is a GREAT first contest. If you are on the fence about flying a contest, come fly ours! We are super friendly and will make sure you know exactly what you need to do. We really pride ourselves on being welcoming and will make sure your first contest is an awesome experience.

Food: Friday- snacks all day, Friday Dinner, Sat lunch (sandwiches) and dinner, and Sunday Lunch will be provided. This is for competitors and volunteers only. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions.

Hotels: Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn and Nuevo Inn and Suites in Warrenton VA (about a 20 min drive from the airport) all have airport rates

Rental Car: In the past, the airport FBO was able to work with Hertz to get cars to the airport, but unfortunately Hertz will no longer work with the FBO, so you will have to call the rental car company directly (hopefully they are still willing to deliver to the airport-we are trying to confirm this).

Hangar Space: We can not promise hangar space at the contest. We will try to find hangars to borrow but it is not guaranteed. Plan on your plane being out.
